- In 2008, sold Patches etc. to another owner, and moved on to Writing and Traveling
- Ann loves Red and White. Her private collection include red and white antique quilts, aprons, handkerchiefs, feed sacks, buttons, and redwork. She also collects doll quilts and wall splashers.
- Her favorite pastime is writing, quilting, and gardening
